Attention students, faculty, and staff. For those of you unaware, Hogwarts Academy of Magic has discovered that one of its own students has been abducted. First year student, Joren Renner (Slytherin House), was abducted from Hogwarts grounds two evenings ago. Ms. Renner, for reasons unknown was upon the school lawns after hours when her abduction occurred. As there were seemingly no witnesses, it is unclear as to what occurred. Though it is certain that Ms. Renner was forcibly taken as evidence of a struggle remained. Deputy Headmistress Catie Weston has provided us with the following communique:

I never knew, nor will I ever, know who my parents were. I do know that they are dead. No one’s had to tell me that. I’ve always known. I feel their absence, and I’m grateful for it. My Family; they are the lowest, blackest followers of The Dark Life. They are despicable, and know of how I feel for them. I am not one of them, but I do know them. They are the refuse of the wizarding world, and feared by many. Other followers from outside their circle fear them. The main focus of this convention is how to infiltrate the enchantments placed on schools of witchcraft and wizardry and destroy all educational facilities.

As a reporter, it is my sworn duty to inform, even at the cost of my own life.
